DC & Sonja Kaushal are indigenous ministers in the northern part of India. They’ve been ministering there for over 35 years. They’ve planted close to 200 churches on the India/Pakistan border. They also operate a slum school and an orphanage.
They have a vision of planting 500 house churches in an area with 5,000 villages that have no church whatsoever.
Please pray! Recently some of the pastors they work with were brutally beaten for their faith. We’ve begun to send support to them but would like to do more.

BRIAN WELLER MUSIC & TEACHING
By the time you receive this newsletter we’ll already be in Lima, Peru. We have two great teams coming to minister for two great weeks in and around Lima.
The first team is our Cross Street Youth Team. We’ve been taking a Cross Street Team to Peru for about 10 years. Each year we assemble a group of youth and leaders to go to Peru and minister there. This years team consists of 17 people, most of which are going on a mission trip for the first time. It’s an awesome team and we’ll be ministering in public schools, on the streets, in churches and hosting the 5th annual Cross Street Peru Youth Camp. Thanks to gifts from some of you we have all the funds needed to pay for the camp this year. I’m always amazed how God touches peoples hearts to join with us in this camp. Thank you, your gifts are greatly appreciated! This camp is going to have a profound effect on the youth that come from the slums of Lima. I know God is going to touch their hearts in special ways.
The second week we’re blessed to have a team from Living Hope Community Church of St. Petersburg, Fl. This too is an amazing team with a heart to come and serve the people there! This team will be focusing on two communities. The first is Lomas de Carrabayllo with Pastor Gilberto and Doris. There we’ll be ministering in the public school, putting on a VBS (Vacation Bible School) for children and doing construction on the Feeding Center/Vocational Training School. Then we’ll go to La Gorila in the Pachacutec area (the sandy slum) to work with Pastor Carlos and Veronica. We’ll be doing a VBS and putting up a pre-fab home for a poor family there. Living Hope Community Church was very generous in donating the funds needed for the construction of these two projects.
Please pray for these teams and for Anne, JJ and I as we GO! I believe the teams are going to have a great impact in Peru because God’s love and grace will be with us, shining upon us and through us as we go. Thank you in advance for your prayers, they are a strong sending force behind us!

On August 6, JJ and I plan on hitting the road together to minister through music from the “Brighter is the Light” album we recorded together. We’re scheduling up the east coast and also for Florida. As soon as we return from Peru, we have one week before our Florida camp begins. Please pray for us as we prepare for the youth that will be coming to not only have a great time with sports, swimming, hay rides, archery, crafts etc. But also to hear the Word of God and to worship and draw closer to our Father in Heaven. We still have some openings for this camp.
