Message Ministries Vision Statement

VISION STATEMENT & MAIN OBJECTIVES

Message Ministries and Missions Inc. exists to make known the gospel of Jesus Christ and His saving power and grace throughout the world to any and all places we are directed by God to go. We will do this by working directly with the indigenous missionaries, pastors and ministry workers of the countries we involve ourselves in through God’s direction, power and love.

Our goals in working with indigenous missionaries, pastors and ministry workers are:

1) To help fulfill the Great Commission by being co-laborers with the indigenous ministers in such a way that we do not create a co-dependence on us but rather a dependence God Himself. At times, we will send full time mission workers from the USA but this is not a primary goal or objective that we feel is necessary to fulfill our commission in the countries to which we are called.

2) To help them fulfill the Great Commission though strategic evangelism and discipleship. This will include the sending of short term mission teams when necessary. These teams will be from the USA as well as teams of indigenous short term missionaries that will go to other parts of their country. Our long term vision is to send full time missionaries from the foreign field to other foreign fields including the 10/40 window.

3) To help them fulfill the Great Commission by helping them to feed the poor.
To do this we will help establish feeding centers out of the local churches we are working with. These feeding centers will help further the cause of the gospel by showing God’s love in a practical way in communities that are in the lower part of the poverty level. These Feeding Centers will also share the gospel and disciple the children in the ways of Jesus Christ so that they in turn will desire to bring hope and mercy to others as they grow.

4) To help them fulfill the Great Commission by providing medical care.
We will accomplish this goal through short term medical teams to local churches where medical clinics will be held. We will invite indigenous medical personnel to work alongside the USA medical teams. Our prayer is that they will catch the vision and then help establish regularly scheduled clinics to be hosted by the local churches and operated by the indigenous medical personnel.

5) To help them fulfill the Great Commission by establishing Bible Schools and Mission Training Centers where the indigenous people can come and receive training for the ministry. The teaching at these schools will be done by indigenous Bible teachers as well as teachers from other countries that will volunteer to help train the next generation of indigenous missionaries, pastors and ministry workers. The curriculum for these schools will be developed by a team of Bible teachers both from the USA and the indigenous country that is home to the Training Center. These Training Centers will be established in the poor areas where we are working and will be places where indigenous churches can send those that God is calling into ministry for training. We will also develop a correspondence course for workers who are unable to attend these schools because of other family and ministry responsibilities. These correspondence courses will be available to other countries that speak the host language as well.
