Our earthquake relief work in Haiti continues through our friends in ministry on the field.
Through your donations we recently sent funding to Haiti with Dave Besares, a missionary friend who went to Haiti for two weeks to work with Missionary Ventures teams.
Dave was able to distribute some of your gifts to families in need.
Below is a brief report from Dave with some pictures.
“I had the opportunity to share the Love of Christ with many children and adults that surrounded us during my stay. Through the generosity of Message Ministries we were able to touch the lives of several families and even provide a tin roof for a mother of six children. Others were blessed with financial gifts which would enable them to purchase food and cooking fuel for their families. Much of our work centered around a school in L'caul just outside of Petit Goave which was hit hard by the earthquakes. During my first night in camp the ground continued to shake and small tremors were felt from time to time during my stay.”
